Introducing the Garnet Framework

Creator of Garnet Framework

Today marks an exciting milestone as we introduce the Garnet Framework to the world. As the creator of Garnet, I'm happy to share this open-source framework that helps solution builders create context-aware applications and digital twins.

For those familiar with our previous work, Garnet Framework is the evolution of the Smart Territory Framework. While we've maintained the core concepts that made the Smart Territory Framework practical, we've added new capabilities and improved its usability.

What makes Garnet unique is how it transforms the way organizations work with their data. Instead of dealing with isolated data silos, Garnet helps you create living digital representations of your systems that evolve in real-time. Built on the NGSI-LD open standard, it provides a foundation for building scalable, interoperable solutions.

Whether you're working on smart cities, industrial operations, or connected services, Garnet gives you the tools to build solutions that understand their context. The framework simplifies data lake creation and analysis without complex ETL processes, helping you focus on creating value from your data.

I invite you to explore our documentation to see how Garnet can help with your projects. The entire framework is open-source, and you can find the code on GitHub. If you find it useful, a star on GitHub would be much appreciated!

This blog will be where we share our journey, including new features, real-world examples, and insights from our community. We'll explore how organizations are using Garnet to solve challenges across different domains.

Looking forward to seeing what you'll build with Garnet!
